LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Mian Saqib Nisar on Sunday summoned PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz and Ayesha Ahad Malik who claims to be his wife to the Supreme Court’s (SC) Lahore Registry on Monday.

During the hearing of Ayesha’s case at the top court’s Lahore Registry, her counsel said, “Despite a case being registered against Hamza Shehbaz, he has not been arrested.”
To this end, the CJP directed both Hamza Shehbaz and Ayesha Ahad to appear before the apex court’s Lahore Registry tomorrow.
On June 3, a case was registered against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz pioneer (PML-N) Hamza and five others following orders from the Supreme Court. Justice Nisar had directed IG Punjab to register a case by midnight against those allegedly involved in abusing Ayesha Ahad.
Ahad has accused Hamza of violence, issuing threats to her besides snatching her possessions including jewellery, a mobile phone, and a purse.
She also alleged that people sent by Hamza forcefully took her laptop, nikahnama (marriage contract) and other documents.
