Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan announced the nationwide protest against increasing power outages on Tuesday and directed workers to demonstrate at the level of union council.
PTI chief also directed central leaders, National Assembly candidates, and local officials to protest strongly on non-availability of power.
Imran Khan criticized the former government on load-shedding of electricity, saying that Nawaz Sharif did not take any step against power crisis.
Khan requested Mulk to take the nation into confidence by presenting the correct picture of the ‘acute power crisis’ in the country and status of Rs500 billion circular debt left by the outgoing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government.
He further said the caretaker PM should tell who is responsible for the rampant load-shedding.
